You are obviously on the right track when you are creating your corespun yarns, and your colours are lovely. When I make this yarn, I find it helps to have the fibre very open and lofty, so working from hand carded or drum carded batt helps. Using a commercially combed mohair or unevenly prepared carded batts will make even coverage and diameter control more difficult. As always, practice, practice, practice, relax and laugh!
